This summery pendant has pale aqua glass on top and deep aqua on the bottom. Crushed glass in blues and greens combines with silver to create a watery look while the handmade swirls resemble waves. To create the swirls, the surface of one side is heated and then swirled with a thin rod of glass while the other side is left natural. Each each side offers its own distinct style.
Once done, each bead is kiln annealed for strength and durability. The pendant is finished with sterling beads and slide which has an 8 mm opening, so it will fit on most omegas or thicker chains.
Handmade beads are unique and while the same colors and techniques are used to create each pendant, the pendant you receive will vary from the picture displayed here.
The finished pendant (including slide) is approximately 2 1/4" long and 1 1/4" wide.
