This lightweight choker has 15 strands of solid sterling silver.  It is 18 inches long and has a friction clasp, so one end of the clasp slides into the other. What that means for you is ease in putting it on, no hooks to catch on hair or clothing, and more importantly - it's not going to fall off.  

It is a perfect partner with one of my swirled pendants. As light as it is though, it is substantial in appearance and can easily stand on its own as a stunning necklace.
